Paatropaatri.in a Bengali Matrimonial Portal founded in the year 2012 by Mrs. Meghnana Debasish Praamanik. The main concept of this site is to provide the same Ghotok(ঘটক)Services (matrimonial consultancy service or a marriage broker service) through the use of personal touch and wide use of Offline Technology. Patro Patri a matrimonial portal is a medium through which all Bengali families in India or abroad get a platform to search Bengali Paatro and Paatri (groom & bride) for the Matrimonial Alliance of the siblings in the family.
Though our beginnings were rough we still had a belief that the Ghotok concept to find Bengali Brides and Bengali Grroms of our Bengali Community will definitely revive.
We began by putting up stalls During the time of Durga Pooja the glorified festivals of Bengali community.
It is well known that this time of the year all the parents seenking Bengali bride and Bengali grooms would see the festival as an opportunity. Responses came and went but we did not loose our hope.
