How to overhaul the elevator traction machine
1. Overhaul the traction wire rope
1.1 Wear inspection of traction wire rope
(1) Check whether the wire rope has split ends and broken strands
(2) Use a vernier caliper to measure the diameter of the wire rope, and the wear should not be less than 7% of the nominal diameter
(3) Remove the sediment and oil stains adhering to the wire rope
1.2 Replacement of traction wire rope
(1) Lift the counterweight
(2) Confirm that the traction wire rope needs to be replaced
(3) The big hoist lifts the car and makes the car safety gear act. It must be noted that there should be enough space to reset the safety gear; at the same time, the compensation rope should not be too tight
(4) According to the removed wire rope, cut the length of the new wire rope, and pay attention to reserve different elongations according to different wire ropes
(5) Disassemble the wire ropes in batches, and each time it is necessary to ensure that there are still 2 or more wire ropes to connect the counterweight and the car reliably
(6) According to the type of elevator rope head combination, such as self-locking wedge-shaped rope sleeve, babbitt-filled conical sleeve method, etc., install the rope head
2. Overhaul the traction sheave
(1) Check the wear of each rope groove of the traction sheave. If the wear is inconsistent, it should be adjusted immediately to make the tension of the wire rope consistent and prolong the service life of the traction sheave.
(2) Check whether the bolts that fasten the traction sheave are loose. If so, they should be tightened immediately to prevent the traction sheave from falling off and causing a major accident.
(3) Check whether the anti-jump bar or protective cover is loose. If it is loose, tighten it immediately to ensure a distance of 1.5mm from the wire rope.
