Fildena 100 is a medicine used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It contains Sildenafil Citrate, which helps to improve blood flow in male sex organs.

The simultaneous administration of Sildenafil with potent P450 3A4 pathway inhibitors, such as cimetidine or erythromycin, increases the plasma concentrations of Sildenafil. Therefore, a lower initial dose (25 mg) should be given when Sildenafil is coadministered to patients receiving these medications.
In vitro studies have shown that Sildenafil is not carcinogenic. It is also not expected to increase the risk of a heart attack or stroke in healthy adults, although it is unknown whether this is the case. It is also not expected to cause sexual or sperm abnormalities in males.
