A14 CPU has a neural engine that can perform about 11 trillion operations per second and second-generation machine learning matrix scalar multiplication accelerators. It also has new, improved computational photography capabilities. The products that include this processor are iPhone and iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro max, and iPad Air (fourth generation).

It has 2 high-performance cores called Lightning and four energy-efficient cores called Thunder running at the speed of 2.5 GHz. Qualcomm's CPU has reached the highest clock speed in the world of mobiles as its prime core runs at 3.2Ghz. This processor has used Kryo 585 cores that are based on ARM's Cortex A77.
