Using a technology called in vivo non-invasive (NI) blood glucose monitoring, glucose levels can be measured without drawing blood. Compared to the invasive approach, which needs a new test strip for every measurement of glucose, it can be less expensive. The majority of scientists have expressed concern over the notion that various Non-Invasive Blood Glucose Monitoring Devices methods of blood glucose measurement will enable more frequent testing and more stringent diabetes management. Based on the glucose molecule's capacity to interact with various physical or chemical processes occurring within the body, a non-invasive blood glucose test can be made. However, despite some promising findings over the past 40 years, to our knowledge there are currently no commercially viable non-invasive glucose monitors available.
